Summer 2015 is keeping everyone busy on the farm. The veggies are starting to produce and the meat chickens are out on our pasture. There are still some chickens available in the fall. Contact jamie@happybugfarms.com for an order form.

The future plans include educational courses and workshops on permaculture design and sustainable food production.

2 Beautiful Red Poll cows have arrived on the farm! They are happy to be in our wonderfully lush pasture. The dark red mass in the center of the photo is Jermaine and Bret getting accustomed to their new view. In the foreground is our solar powered electric fence which allows us to use Holistic Management (rotational grazing) in order to keep our cows well fed, our grass healthy, and ourselves and our customers happy!

We are busy preparing for the busy summer ahead. This year we will have cows, chickens, and turkeys!
There are also going to be some structures being built this summer. Keep an ear open for natural building work bees!
